NUFC ...a statement

NUFC has just issued a statement clarifying its earlier statement and
further stating that a further statement will be issued today further
outlining the timescale for the next issuing of statements. The issuing of
statements concerns a statement of issues which may or may not have been the
subject of earlier statements, but which are all ongoing at this moment in
time.

The Club wants to keep progressing with its long-term statement-issuing
strategy and would like to stress that these statements are extremely
important both now and in the future. The Club has not withdrawn the
statement it earlier issued, which it had not issued anyway, but if it had,
it hasn't withdrawn it and if it hadn't, it hasn't not withdrawn it.

Kevin Keegan still remains very much the subject of our statements, and he
has not not been sacked, nor has he not been not sacked, nor has he not
rescinded his non-resignation, nor is the Club resigned to his
non-rescinding of his non-resignation.

This statement is purely for the avoidance of doubt.

It has just been proved to me from various threads on the Keegan ,and other NUFC topics that the following is SO True and acurate

What are the ONLY two things that BOTH S/Land Fans and Newcastle fans have in common ,yes thats correct

They BOTH Talk about Newcastle on VERY regular if not every day basis

and thats the end of that

BBC NEWS | Programmes | Newsnight | What is it about Kevin Keegan?

Not just Mackems - EVERYONE loves to talk about KK and the Toon....no other club or manager would have sent the media into paroxysms of mass hysteria as has happened this week

Corrected it for you Bri ;):D

Joking aside, I feel a bit sorry for Keegan, he was on a hiding to nothing, Ashley only wanted him to sell loads of merchandise by the sounds of it.

All attending fans should boycott the matches - there you go I said it

Scandalous beyond belief - I can't see Ashley staying much longer...that Arab company will be the new owners next week mark my words, as I can't see any way of him winning the fans/customers round now

My god it's a joke it really is

absoloute f***ing disgrace:mad:

no point in boycotting they've already got yer money:mad::mad::mad:

ye should demand a refund for buying season tickets under false pretences. we have all been lied to by ashley and co, where is the signing that would shock the football world

some of us have bought 3 yrs worth of season ticket - but hey this will all calm down ,not this week or next week ,but it will ,and boycotting isnt the answer - a full house singing some interesting chants in the direction of the Directors box might show the Owners and Meddlers that we are united in our thoughts

AND will put a spoke in the southern Presses wheels ,as they will be expecting a load missing ,so they can sell there rags on the back of the attendance

hi newcastle fans :o just wondering i feel for you lads strongly, but if its sickened yous altogether and your thinking of not fishing this winter due to the disheartment ect ,il buy your peelers yous av frozen for the coming season;):D

what the hell are you all talking about i thought football was about the people on the pitch not the over rate managers sitting watching.anyone who plays or has played football will know when your out there you try 100% and it doesnt matter who is shouting at you
when kegan was at newcastle the last time he had a good group of players and still won nowt i think the bloke is a looser i dont know why you are all making a fuss ,i bet you all called him worse than sh!t when he quit england too but then change your tune when he comes back to the toon
newcastle utd are a very big club in the north east but nowhere else
none of the fans will ever be happy with what goes on at the club until someone wins a cup and then at the end of the day its still the players that won it not the ass sitting on the bench making a mint for a couple of hours of chat a week
this is what i think
rany over

Kevin Keegan is loved and admired because he doesn't bow to the acedemic masturbation of the men upstairs, the ones in suits and ties who run corporations and burn down rainforests. He's man of strong preserve, intellectual thinking, polite yet meaningful speak and a good upbringing. A fighter for the cause of right who doesn't grovel or pay obeisance to.

...but ALWAYS chucks the towel in....

He's fat, he's grey, he always walks away, Special K, Special K.

You are not the first I've heard who says when it comes down to it it's the players on the pitch that win games and not the manager . Why do we bother with managers then? Just chuck the first 11 players to come out of the hat on the pitch and let them get on with it.
Do you honestly think the same 11 arsenal players would put in the same performance and play the same game managed by Wenger as they would managed by George Graham? Or the same 11 managed by Keegan or Allerdyce?
They play the way they are told to play , or they don't play next game , if Allerdyce says 10 men in our own half at all times , that's what they do .....or play in the reserves next week.
Keegan is all that Oblikta so eloquently says of him and I for one would have him back tomorrow.
