Standard rules are usually 2/3 hook limits - pennell counting as 2 hooks. 1 Rod. NFSA Sizes for fish...I don't think there are any exceptions with regards to species as long as it's legal

But above all - we need more names on the North Team folks...16-23 being the bias at the minute

Just a quick update. I've pm'd everyone on our team list and I've had replies from everyone except Ali & Ray, Amadeus (who, incredibly, has opted for a week in Tenerife instead of standing in the cold lol) and Kingfisher. Will set off for the North at around midnight tonight so if you are still fishing drop me a line or if you can't make it...ditto.

Looking forward to it....they say the pier fishes its nuts off in a light westerly breeze.

It's a fair enough reason...why do you think most new members on here come on and say "just back into fishing after a 15 year break"...it's coz we've done the womanising and now we've got a steady homelife we want our excuse to get out of the house

Will be reccying tomorrow and Saturday, although I have my eye on a little mark well within my 50 yard range.

One problem with fishing a mark before the even is you could take the resident fish on your practice session leaving nil foe the night of comp.
Some seasons it would not matter however because of the poor catches and lack of fish you could be ruining your chances on the night david.
The mark you have been looking at does not hold numbers of fish only the odd resident.
