Well going to give river a shot this morning with Sam than give north piear a shot the nyt with Sam and neil96 hoping for a bloody pb bean trying for one for 2 years now lol

if your fishing the tynemouth pier tonight i suspect it will be busy the end fish well all last weekend and tuesday night not much doing though if you cannot get to within 50 yards of the end. pier closes at 4 so can get on then best to get a decent spot, may struggle to find the codling though with sea being as flat

the back wall can chuck some decent fish out at any time rough ground in places but a decent cast normally helps. I prefer to fish back wall rather then walk all the way to end.

Aparintly piear going to be sh it so wer going to smiths docs

pier is always worth a shot after big sea's there should be plenty colour in water still, i prefer to fish the back wall at the end, its rough ground so i always use a rotten bottom but as said it can throw the fish up at any time. pier is always busy at a weekend in the winter i always go down late on a sunday as not busy as everyone has work on the monday

i always fish the wide parts of the river on big tides and narrow parts of river in neap or small tides this way you get the some tidal run and this si when the fish will be moving and feeding.
