I'm off to Essex tomorrow to view a Merry Fisher 635 that i've left a holding deposit on. Along with all the obvious checks there is the Cutlass Bearing, not had much experience with inboards so i would be grateful if someone could advise me on how to check it. Is it a case of holding the prop and checking for play similar to checking a car wheel bearing.
Any other advice when buying inboards would be great........
