I went and had a look at them last night and they were pointing south at the time. A lad next to me said they can be seen 30 miles away. So it got me wondering how far they can be seen from, any advances on South Shields anyone?

Or how far north even?

Driving north up A19 on Wed night cud see them from the top of the hill just before Doxford park slip road.

last night you couldn't see them until you where nearly on top of them with the mist
