well guys im writing this little note in complete agony as some of you know i was plannin to go out on monday night for a good session in the pools i went down to hartlepool dinner time monday our lass done what she needed to do then i headed to hodgsons for some frozen bait to find it closed we decided to go back home but for some reason i decided to go along the 179 from hartlepool to wingate to pick up a mate just as i came over the top of an artic came off the a19 slip road and instead of following it round and head to hartlepool like he was supposed to he pulled out (without looking for traffic)and went to go straight back onto the a19 next thing i know bang im sat at the wheel of a rover25 with no drivers side front end he had hit me i seen it comin managed to slow down a little bit just not enough luckily for me an my p[assengers we all managed to walk away with a bit of whiplash but the cars looking as tho its gonna be a right off and im gonna be out of fishing for a week at least gotta wait for the pain to ease,and i might go out,but im more greatful to be sitting here and in a bit of pain hate to think how bad it could of really been,im oine lucky man indeed and im thankin my lkucky stars soo much

yeah every one walked away from it a bit shuck up and bruised but thats the main thing im gutted as i spent £40 on bait and cant go out for a bit now had planned it for monday but the german driver decided that i couldnt go just my luck but il be back before long as soon as the pain settles

sorry to hear about ya accident, if ya need any help sorting out a claim and a hire car my dad has his own accident assistance company. He works on no win no fee and he'll be able to tell ya over the phone if your gonna win in court (9 times out of 10) PM me if ya need owt

Oh, as a bit of a fore warning, some insurance companys will get in touch with you directly and offer you a "settlement" payment within weeks, this is always around half of what you would get if you go thru with your claim. The thing is tho, Atha&co will have started working for you and started their investigation and if you cancel YOU could end up with a bill from them!!!
Just be on your guard, if ya do get an offer and you want to accept it then get in touch with Atha&co first

i refuse to take a settlement from the insurance il let athat to deal with it at the moment thats the least of my worries anyway but it will be nice to get something from it

thanks for the concern lads like i say im just pleased i survived it coulda been a damn site worse if i hadnt of seen him pull out i hate to think what would of happened just waiting to for the insurance other driver admited full liability straight away even told the police it was his fault just a case of sitting and waiting for the insurance to pay out now but i will recover soon enough ohhh and coddy il be back out sooner than you think well monday at the earliest cos of work and stufff its the only chance i get lol but il be back on the scene before long and hopefully finding some sort of form

well at least you got rid of the crappy rover 25,1 good thing has come of it ,dont get a pergeot 307 as a replacement , thats what i have and its nothing but electrical problems , expensive ones.

Wish i had a pound for every accident i,ve been to.
People are always annoyed the car is damaged - but i tell them the car can be repaired or replaced. Its about not being badly injured or killed. (and i,ve seen a few roofs on cars cut off).

lol just got my hire car yesterday kindly paid for bby the germans its only a pug 308 1.6vti on a 59 plate but i was just thinking of getting a small corsa as my replacement dont need anything too big
