Just been looking at this coming seasons open comps.According to this post Bedlington and Seaham are both on the same date,is this the case ?

I think it was going to be 7 Jan 2018 but clashed with Amble open on that date, so this must be the new date - Oct 22nd. So few suitable tides this autumn and so many opens now that I guess a clash would be almost inevitable...

There are fewer opens now than theres ever been surely the clubs can arrange them not to clash ??

Shields club picked their date for the open and got it in at the very start of January so in there first for that date haha, better getting it done early than late.
