Started off at the ratty from around 10 with a mate and we got a couple of whities and a just under sized codling, all went back but my plan for the codling to go away and grow bigger was thwarted by a cormorant who necked it. Left around 2 and i ended up at shields pier just before the first gate until about 6 where i scored for another codling a shade over 2lb. Bait used was lug and rag which had nearly died of old age. Good day but felt the cold when the sun went in
