Out of the Blue, catch report 07.02.2014.

With an unexpected day off and a quick scan of the weather i decided on bit of fishing this morning....A call to my 1st mate Deano last night resulted in him giving me some quality bait...cheers mate, top bloke...
Down the marina for 7.30 and out into a canny sea, not much wind and pretty mild...
Anchored up not far off the south pier...



One rod down tide and one rod uptide, Yellow Tails and cart used...



There was fish from the off, lots of size or just under returned but ended up keeping 3, biggest 4lb+ couple of hours of good fishing...



Main thing for today was the first test of the boat, which went really well, engine run like a dream, plenty power from the 50hp...

I was upper there last night, had few, there were a few anglers on the point and blast I believe also had fish.

Aye Paul, Hawthorn has been fishing really well, did you have much small stuff last night :question: , it was nearly a fish a drop today with nearly all being just on size....

Great Stuff Chris and wow your miles ahead of us this season, we got to take out and scrub the bottom a bit (sometime soon) before we get the dip of the line in water.
