Well got up this morning nice and early ready for days fishing then heard the rain just hope it passes over soon hope to hit the beach or the walkway by lunch time

Well the rain Eased off so I decided to fish the little haven beach South Shields got down about 12.30 set up two rods, bait used was black lug, bluey, razor and some prawns the sea was flat as mill pond but thought I'd give it a go anyway. I had a few bites but no fish brought in I tried casting long, short a bit to the left and a bit to the right but nothing but some nice fresh air

Try the river Steve I wish I had now and it might be a good call in darkness

Aye Steve, the river is chocker with fish at the minute mate with quite a few keepers aswell. Better than sitting in the hoose!

Yeah mate there doesn't seem to be much around a the moment looking at the the catch reports
