panns bank advice

is it worth fishing panns bank tomorrow? what can i expect and what are the best times / bait . taking some friends who are new to fishing so dont want them amongst mack bashers . pls advise as i dont know the rivers well

more than likely there will be coalys kicking about there been loads last few months also hope few nice flattys and codling + eels. best 2/3 hook flapper 1/0 for a bit sport

thank you matey will be using mack/herring/squid possibbly rags/lugs if i get to the shop in time . will try out flappers tommorrow cheers.

anyone else got any tips ...got some size 4 3 hook flappers would they be too small?

mostly flatties coalies eels the odd codling ,best bait will be crab . after that rag tipped with a tiny flag of maccy.

definatly 2 or 3 hook flappers , size 2 or 4 hooks will do , i use size 1 or 2 hooks most of the timein the rivers.

if you have a problem with crab taking your bait, try clipping a lump of maccy on the wires of your sinker , doesnt stop the problem but it gives your hook baits a chance to fish.
