hi not sure how to say it but a enema you get off the rocks at low water whitish in colour i think anyone had any success with this one of my mate rates it highly in middle of winter in rough seas
 
Hi John... by we could have some fun here BUT the parp I think you're referring to, in my experience is red not white but I'm no expert on the matter. The red ones I have used successfully as bait fillers when off in the boat but never tried from the shore. Have tried limpets with some success when mixed with crab or mussell.
 
hi stores well and truly put my foot in it there hav,nt i, think you right might be red and it is parp should try it in big sea my mate from seaham harbour swears by it
 
Apparently they were used a lot many moons ago with good results. There was an article in the sea angler about using them in a cocktail with other baits to beef up but I'm sure many people would have their own opinions on these articles. Any natural bait is worth a shot mate as most fish are scavengers. I personally can't stand touching them
