parking at beadnell

its been 20 years since I fished beadnell skiers , just wondering what the parking is like up there nowadays before I journey up one day this week , I was informed its all changed up there now with new home builds etc .. anyone been recently have any info ??

No problems parking at all really; a lot less busy during the week than at weekends. There's plenty of parking along from the shop (the old Patterson's Garage) and further along the front towards the harbour, you can park along the wall on the left hand side overlooking the bay & Knacker Hole. Just avoid the double yellows and you'll be fine.

Marco man!!!! Its difficult to focus on you're post with those things jingling around!! G-Force is spot on though and I think if you get lucky you can sometimes park next to the phone box a bit closer to the harbour, which give you direct access to the big skeer! Just don't block the gate if I remember rightly!! I normally park by the wall G-force mentions though opposite the Knacker!!!

Been a couple of years since I was up there! Cheers Davy! last time I was there (Sept 2011 i think), the lad next to me, fishing to the left of that big square hole on the big skeer had a 14lber out, best fish i've ever seen from the Shore! lucky bugger!

Hello Marco,

Gary has it spot on and like Davey has said don't park at the telephone box as you'll get a ticket.....best to park at the knacker hole and walk down if you want to fish the pipe or the long skeer.
For Dell point you can park on the grass at the roadside near the gate.

mesmorising arnt they choppa , cheers lads , I cant remember exactly where I fished the last time I was there , ill soon recognise it I suppose ,I know it was running alongside the waters edge and not out to sea....

fished 10 till 3 , had a few small knocks , lots of seals kicking about and salmon nets .... turns diving all day for sand eels .... after 3 hours , I ended up on the light rod and a float , plenty of sunshine had and a great day ,,, only place to park now is alongside the small wall opposite the houses and a 10 minute walk ....

Drive up and finnd out i got 2 parking fines last week and one on April the 1st
