Parking for Whitley bay beach

Always seem to end up parked miles away, any advice on the best place to leave the car would be much appreciated.

Drive along that brown path opposite car wash garage and park on the promenade little bay just at end of prom cant get any closer .

I have parked there many of times m8 seen a few lads do the same . The paths more like a road anyway .

We have driven on to the prom, drove through the arch
at the cafe, I haven't seen any signs saying you cant
this was at night in the middle of winter, so not many people
around,
