Fished a location last night past Cambois but not as far as Amble and what a night.Arrived 7.30ish and fished a rock mark.Right from the first cast we were in to good bites but couldnt connect with a fish.2 hour later i managed a codling for about 1.5lb which went back to live another dayAlso managed a 3.5lb cod.My mate pulled in two small crabs and they were also returned. The tide was coming up fast so decided to move on to the beach and thats where the fun begun,my mate pulled in what looked like a stonker coming thru the surf but when weighed it was just over 7lb(which to me is a stonker)!!.His next hoy produced another lovely cod just under 6lb then his next hoy another lovely cod for 6lb as well.He managed to pull a smaller cod in for around the 4lb mark and then i eventually caught my 3rd fish a cod for around 4lb mark.We packed in at about 12.30 as the rain started to come down heavy.Baits used were Lug,Rag,Squid,Mussel,Blacks.
I also must say what fantastic big lug we got from Lewis's yesterday!!
Ill try and get some pics on later when ive got more time.

Well done lads nice 2 see some bigger fish coming in.Hopefully they'll head a bit further south as the fish down this way all seem to average between 1lb-2lb.Well done again nice sesh..

Wey with a bit of lug left from last night i decided to have another go at the same mark the night.Sea conditions were the same apart from the tide.It was quite windy with the wind getting stronger.Managed to pull a 2lber which i never seen it bite it was that windy.
So all in all its been a cracking weekend of fishing for me and my mate.Very happy with the results...
I think its made up for the amount of times we've blanked...............roll on next weekend:D
