Pb Flounder

Have caught quite a few Flatties from the Tyne at Hebburn over the last couple of days....

culminating in a new personal best for this species, with a fish of 2lb 3 ounces.

All fish were of course returned.

It's been a long time coming this one as it's only took me 30 years of flatty fishing to break the 2lb barrier, lol.

It was on the old rod but new reel, kind of mixed the gear up a bit today, as you know I was having a bit of bad luck with the new fishing tackle. I have christened the new rod though now Dave.
