Am writing this from my mobile phone! My PC has just died on me...the screen went white and started flashing :( now it won't even load up Windows :( totally confused!

As annoyed as I am with the PC - which I am convinced is a virus that's done me over - I am totally impressed with this phone of mine. Sony Ericsson K810i...:)

Class Phone , iv'e got one. it finds the server really quick to get your e/ms ,but to save a load of money , dont go in to e/mail to send a message, just send the message to an e/m address for approx 10/12 pence. 3.2 mega pics, its the biz.

it came to me in a dream

PC crisis resolved...it came to me while in the shower....the graphics card has died, so I plugged it back into the motherboard monitor output and all is fine again :)

Bit of a double edged sword but at least I can use the PC again

I was worried for a moment coz I thought "this is gonna cost me" if I had to take it to get repaired...

It's amazing though what phones can do these days...my phone is an MP3 player, 3.2 mp camera, a radio, a PDA with "real" Internet...oh and I think I can make phone-calls on it too :o Orange are now providing "real time" TV through your phone as well :o :o

Where would we all be without these gadgets? :exclam:

you're not wrong...going camping is great coz we're not plugged into the PC or TV so we have to "speak" (crazy concept I know) to each other.

and while we're playing the "old men" cards...do you remember when £10 could get you into a club, get you mortal and have enough for a pizza and taxi home? (or at least it seemd to:rolleyes: :D )

i think you might just be a little older than me but can remember my YTS wage of £25 lasting the weekend and being out fri sat sun night lol. a birthday drink or something in the town will set me back 150 notes easy these days with transport etc and all the best pubs have nearly all gone

cheers

LOL - I may been exaggerating with the £10 night out...but I do remember going down Whitley as a youngun and getting hammered on what it would cost on a taxi these days...anyone remember Whiskey Bends or The Avenue in Whitley? finest drinking parlours there ever were....spit and sawdust, as opposed to glass and steel!!! ;) :D

PC bust again

PC bust again

PC bust again - I think the monitor is shorting the system out...coz as soon as i turn the PC on it says "power save mode on" Bum!
Looks like a trip to PC world after all:(
