Whats the Going Rate for Frozen Peelers - reasonable size ones - not your 50pence size ones

Ha ha - an innocent Question ,and it nearly starts world war six - Grommit i hope you sell the lot - and i am booking a few more hols for this year - if i can get 400 in 3 tides - then go back over for my last tide for 100 more (and thats all i take lads-be it 4 tides or 40 tides ,when i have my quota thats it ) HOWEVER ,this might change ,now that i know what can be charged in the winter months - Grommit PM me for how much you pay for frozen sea crab - that are 7cm across the shoulder(if crab have shoulders ha ha ) and 5cm from eye to ar$e .

If your crabs are that big I\'ll buy them off you in the summer, at a reduced rate obviously as you won\'t need to peel them or store them in a freezer for 6 months....

That was 2005 harvest - looking after 20 or 200 at a time is all the same carry on - up first thing ,check them all ,shower ,then off to work Etc Etc - in from work check them over etc etc

but i know what you mean - firstly i get my quota ,then any others are a bonus

well I bought £50.00 first thing this morning dropped them straight into the freezer and went to work. when I looked in here at work I was rather worried what had I bought.

Got home tonight and checked .

Got a few small ones mostly average sizt and about 9 or 10 large ones
on checking the wraps it looks as if Ive got about 60 crabs as some of them are as markswold said doubled up, expensive yes but for buying rocking horse she-e this time of the year I feel as if I got a fair deal
and if it helps the Northern lads keep ther trophy for 2006 it will have been worth it

As I have said earlier, we sell a helluva lot of crabs without any complaint. I pay more collectors a very good price but in return I get a good supply.

Seriously though, couldn\'t complain at the size and the fact that I got another 6 small ones thrown in as well made them even better value.

By the way, it was nice to meet you Ian and that reel is a belter, best looking one I\'ve got according to our lass (and who\'s going to argue with her?) I just hope she hasn\'t had the Mr Sheen on it by the time I get back in
