Pelaw paints 10/11/12

Well nowt doing at the coast so a little trip up river for a few hours with me mate Neil (topsy) turner .
Fished from 9am till about 3.30 and we had 11 fish between us Neil catching 3 flounders , 2 whiting and a small codling and myself catching 3 codling one at 1lb 9onz , 1 sizeable whiting returned and a flounder , bait ; rag , lug , macky , crab , mussel and razor , with the largest taken lug only .
Canny days sport and a laugh with the nuggets on the dark side of the water coming down pottery bank in there corsa and shouting over to us "ere mate am ganna shag ya granny " he should be so lucky they've both been in boxes for years ,,,,,LOL

hallaw lads that sounds like a canny sesh! any chance of getin a heads up of where to fish around there mate? ive recently moved to s.shields like and fancy gettin out for a cuple of hours this week. any help would be appreciated mate. i havent been out and about in ages due to work. anyways cheers lads

Plenty fish around that area at the minute. Well done on your catches.

To get to the paints drive towards heworth and at the pub maiden over turn right , follow the road right down untill you get to allotments on your left , park on your right hand side and walk down the path on the right along to the jetty .

Next to no snags but a gripper needed when the tide is running , any baits catch mate , have a go and enjoy

we moved futher down when we where fishing next to you it was a bad move for us other than we got some chips lol canny session 4 yous
