yeh, it pays to look at the spec of a reel before buying a one like

True but it was bought as a present by non angler. They only heard the penn mag bit.

If it had a been on a couple of weeks age I would of had it but I got one on line, pardon the pun like. Cracking reel I think but then again I'm just using 20lb line so it's ok

well ive got 20lb stren blood red on me 525 mag2 and im hitting the spool knot every time with a full spool so unfortunately don't think the 515 will cut it for me in the capacity stakes
