penn 525 mag anti reverse bearing

just nearly broke my fingers with my reel there lol any ideas were i would get one without seeing mike at penn parts?

Try ID fishing phil,ronnie in there normally has a few spares in.Had bearings etc for penn mags from them in past,worth a shot.

if the reel is winding back occasionally it could be that the bearing is dry.

wipe it off and re grease usually sorts it unless the bearing has collapsed.

Same problem last week 16 QUID LEWIS S WHITLEY BAY see Simon,fixed in 5 minutes like new,yes agree you can degrease,clean and re oil them,if not too used and old,mine was terminal after 18 winters.Not gripe at the price for what now is basically a new reel again.Also Simon carries every spare needed to rebuild all the penn models of 525s.

I would try northumbrian bearings up at cramlington mate, honest, worth a shot.
