how much for one of these??

as a M8 has one for sale, are thay any good?

Looks like the original Penn Mag - I had the 970 (the narrower one) back in 82/83. At the time I thought it was a cracking reel, well ahead of anything else on the market at the time. I don't know how they'd stand up against todays reels but if it's in good working order I'm sure it'd be fine. No idea what the value would be though, or if spares etc are still available.
