Penn Sea League cheat given top prize

After reading this i did a quick google search on dion mcfayden

it seems he actually pulled his son into this deception but looks like he was digging himself a bigger hole :casstet:

Well done to the stewards that day.

because legal action is taking place I will not be able to make any comment in the Sunday Sun and I suggest we refrain from making anymore comment here

Cheats always a cheat

Cheats always a cheat

Reading your posts puts shame on anglers who do this and to me they should be banned from any composition or club anywhere and when ever clubs put on compositions there should be scrutineers watching whats going on and yes in that case all anglers could do it but to me i would be ashamed even just to take that chance.Yes its GREED-GREED-GREED and if i ever see anyone doing this i would report it immediatly .I clap my hands to the person who brought this up as it definatly wants looking into.Bravo::mad::mad::mad::mad:

in my opinion people have a right to know who are cheating, especially in something as big as the penn sea league. as people have said it all boils down to greed and you are only cheating yourself with regards to being crowned the winner.

sea angler need to get their act together on this, if they dont i think they will lose a lot of readers respect or what respect they have left for it as its now a poor read as well.

it does fold mate, most magazines do........

if you mean cease trading then that's just daft,do you really hope people lose their jobs? why? because you don't like it? if you don't like it don't read it, just don't wish for people to lose their jobs / income etc, that' s just foolish

Sea Angler Penn Final

Sea Angler Penn Final

I would like to know why they're not allowing Penn points for the weekend of this years final.
So any matches on the 20/21 July 2013 aren't eligible for Penn points.
Looks to me like Sea Angler is looking after it's big boys and sod the rest.
Also why does the final winner win Penn points, isn't £1500 worth of Penn gear enough.
It's own rules say it must be an open to have Penn points awarded and the final is for qualifiers only, so doesn't qualify under their own rules.
I may be wrong but it looks poorly organised and a bit elitist to me, especially after last years fiasco with the dubious Dion.

Been following this incident on a Kent website, whilst trying to pick up advice for Comp down that way. He was caught walking onto his peg with two flounder in his bucket prior to the start of a Comp. He was searched by a Steward as it had been SUSPECTED that he had been involved in Foul Play for a long time. He was instantly disqualified.
Days later, he claimed that the two fish involved were from a previous Comp, and forgotten about !!! He also claimed that if the Steward had examined them more closely, then it would have been discovered that the two fish had been gutted for the pan.
No mention of lie detector test.
THE OPINION DOWN SOUTH IS THAT HE CHEATED..AND HAS BEEN FOR A LONG TIME.

Why would anyone take fish gutted for the pan to a comp ??? nice try
