im lookin for a new rod a stiff one ive just seen a peen viper mark 1 does any 1 no what they are like and how much they are new to buy

It is a floppy stick -certainly not stiff! I started off with one as my first 'proper' rod and it flapped about in the wind.

It's a nice rod for what it is designed for - 4-5oz match fishing down sarf!

Greys Apollo MK2 dont come much stiffer than this.

just bought sonik sk 3 14' 5-7 oz would probably be a better choice seems nice and stiff and also cheap as chips nets have a deal on them at the minute

on the rod it says 4-8oz and i forgot to say its a ppt viper evo mark 1 is that the same rod you are talking about jimbob

I think it's much the same rod. As the lads say Sonik's and RT Axellerators are good value and better rods than this one if you are looking for something stiff.
