Pier Fishing with the kids

Im heading out tomorrow with the kids for a few hours, to fish high tide, any suggestions on a safe pier location ? we have fished Amble wanna try sowhere new ?

wouldnt think of goin ta blyth mate i would say amble is the safest cos its got wire mesh on and no big spaces between bars. Tried my youngun on blyth last yr an it only lasted an hr with him leaning between rails an all that.... proper nightmare. Would still catch the tiddlers from amble if i were you mate good luck

Ya should try alnmouth beach mate , ya don't need a big cast and theres plenty flounders to bend the youngins rod and it's clean and safe as houses

the Sea was massivie at Alnmouth, went for the safest option and fished amble, couldnt fish the corner as trhe swells were coming over the top, about 2 benches down had a dozen or so flatties several small but perfect codling and a couple of coalies kids were happy
