Pier Plunge

Some nasty comments on that page . How would they feel if it was one Of their family members
Hope he gets well soon

If it was one of my familly members, I would tell him what a prat he had been and should habve known better at his age.
The pier is closed for a reason. IT IS UNSAFE.
His actions just proved what the signs told him.
If anglers keep ignoring these signs, it will only make the authorities close the piers on a permenant basis and stop everyone from having access to the angling spots with the excuse that they are unsafe and use these instances as proof.

People aren't being cruel, they are being honest,
Would you be saying the same if it was someone walking back and forward across the A1 and had been hit by a car?
He would be called all the daft b******ds under the sun for doing so.

Climbing onto the pier when it is signposted as unsafe is no different.
The man knew the risk and paid the penalty.
He should have known better.
It is people like him and any angler that does stupid actions like this that get all anglers a bad name.

Rant over.
