Wanted pier rod

after a used pier rod 8ft /9ft for my grandson he is just starting sea fishing and has out grown his little spinning rod, as he now has an interest in the sport trying to sort some gear out for him odds and ends.

he,d probably be better off with a bass rod. the shakespeare rods are cheap and decent quality for the price.

3 piece, with bag and hard tube, 11' 6'', casts 2-4oz. Lovely rod in great condition.

thanks but the rod is for my grandson he is just 11 that's why I am after a 8ft 9ft pier rod as a 11.6 rod will be just to big .
he has tried my 12 ft telescopic rod but its miles to big for him

I've used the 12ft and 13ft beachcasters and the 11ft bass rod, and they aren't bad rods, well worth the price.

the next year or so he will sprouting up fast so a 11'or 12' rod would not be too far a way for him and if he is serious about his fishing , i would honestly go for 1 about that size

my m8 has given my grand son a 10ft pier rod 2-4oz that his son no longer uses + a few sinkers to day.
