friday, i decided to raid the freezer and have a few hours on the pier after work.

i only took one pack of frozen blacks and a couple of small mackerel fillets for tipping off.

i left the house after 6 and left the pier just after 9.

i decided to fish light and target dabs to see how many i could catch on the worms in had.

sport was hectic and in less than 3 hours i had 43 dabs on 10 worms.

others were fishing but didnt do as well using bigger hooks and rag or crab for bait. they did get small codling, whiting, flounders and a few dabs.
