practical casting reel

have just started fishing again after a 15 year break!
am curious as to whats the best all round casting/practical fishing reel about nowadays.
have a rocket and a 7500c3ct but summit inbetween would be nice

personally i'm a penn 525 gs/mag fan for fishing , but the the abu 6500ct and diawa 7ht ,slosh 20/30 should serve you well for angling

have got a couple of abus - 6000 rocket and a 7500c3ct fancied summit inbetween an originally was plummin for a 6500 mainly cos of the way the rocket casts compared witht hhe 7500 doin some reading though and the penn seems to be the most popular, does it cast anywhere near as well as the rocket?

525,s a more for general fishing with lines on or over 0.35mm dia .they are still capable of some good distances though .ideal for clean/mixed ground
the abu's are smaller with lighter spools ,dropping the line dia down to 0.31mm will shoot a sinker much further.
