Well watched the toon play today and over the moon at being a prem team again but by we going to struggle if we played like we did today, still unbeaten at home, 52,126 new record and should top 100 points...not bad at all for a team doing a a Leeds 10 month ago.

Highlight...the walk around with the cup

Down point...a toss up between the goal in the 93rd min and Shola ripping the ball out of Butt's hands for his last game to take the spot kick.

Ages away but 44 points next season finish 15th.

are these sea league matches, sweepstakes, or just a new league starting. if it is let me know the deatils and will give it some publicity. Think you put the dot in the wrong place if you are expecting that many, and don't go with pulling the balls and shirts of each other, thats not part of fishing.

Aye rich, just got back from the match myself .... (9.30pm lol , sure I`ll be ok for the mornings fishing)
Not quite a spectacle of football talent today :( ....... we'll need to do a lot better than that to survive next season (although I do think there are worse teems in the premiership) ..... Ipswich were bad ... and we got what we deserved, a draw , just.
I thought the walk around was a bit subdued after giving away the equaliser in 93rd min and losing the 100 points today .....

on the good side ..... Routledge was outstanding , no. 1 player in my book.

norm

Yes he played well but needs a few more targets to aim for.

I stayed in the ground until the players vanished about 5.40pm

Weather looks good for Sunday so good luck.....i wont be out this Sunday...working 9hrs again.

Yes! I bet St James's was a full house. Well the flock had to take the opportunity to see what silver ware looks like.Lets face it, its been along time and no doubt it will be again. ;)
As the shepherds paraded their trophy Mass Hysteria spread through the flock. As this strange glowing shinning metal object shone in their eyes, never seen at the sheep pen panic spread amongst the flock and it stampeded for the exits.several were killed and a spokesman for the shepherds said they are now selling fresh cuts of lamb on a first come basis.
Lambs To The Slaughter.

I think newcastle will go straight back down, the team is worse than the one that was relegated and the likelyhood of them atrracting decent players is slim because of all the previous backroom unrest and previous relegation.

Pmsl, dont think they will. The mags will hold their own the coming season.

ahh, yes, we're back in the prem, but the sunderland fans aren't bitter!

lets face it when it comes to the north east yo-yo award for going up and down, how many times is it now since the prem was formed!

seriously flawed logic there surely

...still the old adage is that most Sunderland fans talk more about Newcastle United than they do their own team - quite flattering really :p:D

I wouldnt of mentioned newcastle had i not seen a joke thread about a so called promotion party.....

I just like to point out my opinions as to there chances for next season, what i was trying to say is the team they have now is worse than the one that was relegated, some players left and they bought players of championship quality which are not really going to cut it in the premier league.

I was watching something on sky sports news last week and they were talking with an ex newcastle player and he was saying the same thing....
Its not about putting newcastle down its about being realistic.

coupled with very short memories about how often they have yo-yoed up and down

can't wait for it all to come back and haunt them. it wasn't that far off happening this year

reports are newcastle are to sign 6 new players all defenders as they wont be out of there own half next season.

who do you reckon will be the bookies favourite for first premiership manager to be sacked next season one guess ???????????????.

when was the last time newcastle won a major cup ???

both sunderland and boro have, i was there when bob stokoe brought the cup home for the lads the fans.

my guess steve bruce

aw bless, can't be easy for them, being the lesser north east club and the premiership record holders as the worst team ever

although they should be given credit for avoiding relegation again this year so we can help them do it next year :D:D

Worst prem team ever = Derby and they took 4 of their 11 pts from whom? :D

Its always good too have a North East Derby and the banter that goes with it, well done Newcastle on getting there but i think it will be the Red Army who rules the Derby's next season!!:p
