quayside

I fished the quayside at north shields for a few hours of the ebb tonight with me mate. The fishing was slow to say the least, must of been with the tides being small. Anyway when a bite did come we knew about it. Its was me mates rod and after a good tussle he was rewarded a nice fish that weighed just over 11lb ! A new pb and he was over the moon. I ended up with a scrut of about 2lb lol but at least I didn't blank. He got his on lug and a crinkley frozen crab and I got mine on lug and mussel. These were the only bites of the night but it was worth it.
