Al, This isn\'t the e-mail address you contacted me on. Is it correct?. Alan, the book deals with marks from Burnmouth northwards but is only in the planning stages.
just wondered m8.You did any other books and when do you expect to finish this one ?

Hi Alan,
This will be my first attempt and it is a way of putting down on paperthe 30 odd years of fun I\'ve had fishing up that way. I have no idea if it will ever get into print but I\'m thoroughly enjoying the writing bit (and especially thye extra research I\'ll have to do up there)

Thanks Al,
Finishing it won\'t be a problem. It is a labour of considerable love. Retiring on the profits may be a different matter.............

Sorry, can\'t be a chapter, can only be an anecdote where I ruthlessly expose and run down lesser anglers, regardless of the truth, courtesy of The Sun type journalism. Looking forward to it Gordan

just like a sun journo, cant even spell names right lol,do you and rod want some crab for trip as i have a few spare ;) ;)

Thanks for the offer but already organised. Sorry about the mistake - that\'s three in two posts. Not what you expect eh ??

Les do you fish at Creetown or are you staying there,we stay there quite often mate,i presume its Creetown in SW Scotland !

hi alan,

well it\'s not strictly creetown, we launch the boats at gairliston and sail round into the river and over to auchenlarie, so, really it\'s the cree estuary, i\'ve fished it twice and all i\'ve had is dogs and dabs, mainly because i don\'t know what i am doing, and i don\'t have crab, i swore i would never go there again, but hey.....its the only place to get a smoothie of any size.

mind you, fishing for skate is in 500 feet+, for smoothies it is 15-25 feet, big difference.......lol
