Is it just me, or ........ is this site becoming \"Quiet\"?

Seems I log on and often find NO new comments or posts, not what this site has known over the years ......... or am I just paranoid .....?

Norman you are not wrong, site becomming quite quiet, a lot of the members are quite active on other NE angling sites though. Started having a look around myself after having so mnay requests for the use of some of my stuff. Chances are we will end up with half a dozen, if not more sites nearly all the same.

Still the original one Alan but I take your point. There are a lot of sites which seem to repeat stuff. Bit like clubs and Opens which just sort of dilutes everything.

I was thinking it was quiet as well but put it down to summer hoildays.

It\'s always a quiet time of year Norman but as Alan says more and more sites are popping up and Peters point about the posts being repeated is also true ,wait until the winter mate !
I\'m sure the site upgrade will generate some interest as well , Ive not been fishing in a while myself so nothing to report ... boo hoo :(

the site was quiet like this about the same time last year. With everyone having holidays and fishing comps and other summer comitments. as Steve says \" wait till winter\".

Oh no .. please not the . . . . \"Winter\" AAArrrggghh, Ive just spent last year getting through it waiting for the summer (is it here yet?)

:) :) :)

I have grown as a person recently (Insert fat joke) I am concentrating my bile and vitriol on forums essentially designed for fuckwits and nazis and no longer venting my spleen on lads and lasses asking about shockleaders. I works for the council now

Yes it looks like the closed season is approaching where the boats go quiet and the shore starts to kick off !!! So soon i`m going to try my hand at a little bit of shore fishing.... :D I`m looking foeward to the shore season with the Cleadon Club ..to see the lads and have a bit banter and giggle again(the boat season aint over till it starts again!!!!)

Same as the quiet spell between the end of the winter shore season and boat season kicking in again. I\'ve been busy latley and havnt posted much for the last few weeks but hope to be around more in the near future. I\'ve had a fantastic 2006 boat fishing season and hope to get out a couple more times yet. I\'m thinking of investing in some new tackle and joining in the winter shore madness so expect some bizzare questions

Like Why ??

Norman, as you know I\'m looking for a boat and having looked at a few, spoke to a few people time passes too quickly. Before I know it, the summer is nearly over and it\'ll probably be next year before I have something in the water.

Time sure does pass quickly when you want to go fishing. I\'m sure the expectation of next years season in my own boat will take ages to get here!!

Maybe we should arrange a social at the Zetland so that everyone can talk boats and fishing and get p***ed.

regards

Stu

I always find it is very quiet this time of the year Norman, Lots of the shore lads never even look in during the summer. Give it a few weeks and it will start to pick up again mate.

Stu, the best time to buy a boat is in the winter, you\'ll get more for ya money. ;)

There\'s been a few attempts at organising a NESA pi$$ up, it\'s just not that easy unfortunately. :(

Yep some of us have tried and failed ,probably the best thing to do is say we\'re meeting at............. ,where ,when and all are welcome.
