Well just fitted my new fishfinder so wanted to test it out this morn with a quick sesh so conditions looked good this morn and launched from the hole in the wall.
Started to head of to one of the wrecks which has never failed me before and the sea was like chocolate with all this bloody rain we have been getting so i thought the chances of getting anything on the shads was out ... Errr nope straight into the cod and had 2 in quick time but went back over the wreck again on the drift and then nothing but being content with my fish and started to head back in as I was very happy with the way the new fishfinder was working and found the wreck straight away so on the way back in I found another wreck but on the drop I was straight into the makky which I got about 15 so I gave up trying to go for the cod and happy with my catch I headed back in.
Conditions today was good with a nice rolling swell but the sea was manky so hopefully conditions will improve next week when I take my mate out who's new to this ... should be a laugh !!
