hi all, good reply to this was,nt expecting as much chat, everybody to there own thats my opion just as richy says his opion, rock hoppers, pier lads , beach lads, and boat fishing there is skill in all these departments and some very good anglers in every department richy prefers his boat fishing i prefer getting up 5am in winter months minus 12 degrees is the worst i have been in people call me mad they might have a point, fantastic watching the sun rise on the beach in the winter, but thats just my opion everybody to there own roll on the winter for me some big south easterly seas great pics davy

Like i said before i wont be doing much this year and my feelings about winter fishing will not change..every year it gets worse and worse and last year was it for me.

Should global warming cause sea rises of 500 feet I\'ve picked out one or two nice gullies on Cannock Chase, as long as I don\'t get wrapped up with the xmas trees they would otherwise be selling lol. Seriously though I fished twice last winter and caught both times, nothing big but the right place at the right time. That\'s the planning bit Richy, not the number of times you fish. I say to Eileen.. \"if we lived by the sea I wouldn\'t fish all the time.. only the right times\" Won\'t be up \'til xmas. Hope you all catch a few before then.

Bring it on Baby !!!! winter is our time ,cold ,wet ,windy, WAHOO.
And yes of course the technical stuff is so important ,conditions ,bait ,tide etc .
Richy if you still fancy it mate we\'ll have a run up to Lynemouth one day or night ,probably day as the pits shut now .

lol,thats why I go fishing as well,you can get the kids out the house in the summer but you are f##ked in the winter.
