snowed off work today so went fishing,had alook down Roker,sea was flippin big and wind was howling so i slipped into rathouse corner with a bit of shelter from the blizzards,only me and alad from shields fishing to start with, but a few more lads joined us as the tide started pushing.Fishing very poor considering sea state only seen one sized cod come in,loads of kelp in the river which caused a problem,hopefully some fish when sea drops

fished it meself from 4.30 till 6.30. fairly outrageous sea state mate. i was right at the top end if you where fishing the corner with your back to the wind. i left when a wave hit the end and washed all the way down to where i was standing. i couldnt believe it when a lad jumped over the barrier and proceeded half way down to set up and start fishing. a tad risky

i left about 5.00 but left through the houses,i was toying with fishing the end when i first came down,but even over low water it was crashing over the end.i thought that putting the effort in with the weather conditions would have seen some fish,not to be though

me too mate. i thought i was sort of earning a fish or two last last night by being out in such harsh conditions. never mind. with any luck ill get try again the weekend
