First report here lads.

Fished the ratty on new years morning from about 3:30AM until 9AM. Caught about 20 good sized whiteys up to about 2lb and 1 canny coley, nearly a fish every cast, no signs of any cod though. Most fish caught on macky, rag and mussels. Will try putting some pics on.

First of all read the lads post properly before having a dig.and how the hell can you tell the weight of the fish from a photo. It's not like he's doing what most do and hold the fish out in front of him to make it look bigger.

didnt have a dig,, hence why i said well done. if you ever see a 2lb whiting you will realise how much bigger they are than the ones in the pic

I have seen a whiting caught just over 2lb a few weeks ago and it looked the same size and length of the top right one in the first picture...

Well done on your busy session chris10, look forward to seeing more (with cod )
