re 1000

Was going to get one myself but finally got to have a go before handing over the cash found that at 14ft 10 it was a bit to much rod for me I couldn't generate enough speed with a pendulum works ok with a over head thump if you're happy with that yes it's a very good rod just not for me
If you can definitely try before parting with your money

Re.t1000

dont know what to do get a t1000 or a excalibur TT YES PRICEY BUT NO SECOND HAND ONES OUT THERE

The Excalibur tt is nowt like the t1000 or e1000 in my opinion, sold my tt as it was a lot heavier than my e1000,it also has the biggest butt diameter so felt a bit cumbersome, total beast of a rod, even with 7oz leads could only bend the top foot lol, heavy going if your out all day.As mentioned just my opinion.

I tried the tt and agree with graham not for me at all I pre the e1000 to it . The t1000 is completely different light nice to cast with more than enough power . Give me a ring you can take it out for a day and try it , not sunday though

I own both rods the eliminator t1000 best rod century ever brought out in my opinion . All I been using sine the come out with f/s , the TT yeah it's a beast of a rod a hell of a lot stiffer that the t1000 .
If your after rod that can do It all and stiff the tt is ideal
But if you want a rod that can do it all but won't put you on your ass lol try t1000 Bucky
