For those of us that no longer are, do you remember what it was like as a kid to pick up a fishing book?

Did a tidy up of my fishing gear yesterday and found this book amongst it all...

30 years old!

The kit and the equipment may have moved on but the basic principles certainly haven't

Great stuff indeed and it certainly re-invigorates me to dust the shore gear off and get back to basics

Hi m8 and your going back some time with that book as i can remember getting them some years ago and it brings back memories and yes the tackle has changed but the ways in fishing has/nt so good on you for bringing back long ago memories m8

ive got every copy bar six of sea angler from 1981,sometimes disappear into the shed to do something and end up sitting for a few hours just leafing through them(ive got a fridge with newcy brown in it)great way to hide from our lass

can go one better tony observers book of seafishs 1957.also marshall cavedish course sea and game fishing copys 1to76.the secret lives of fishs 1977,the north east guide to sea fishing 1973 by dave higgins very popular at the time,anglers mail anuals 1977,78,79,also john darling,paul kerry,alan wrangles1973,and many more are you trying to make me feel old haha,must start down siding.davy.
