At least you seen the glory days Alan . Its astounding how they found the wrecks with that primitive gear , makes you feel spoilt rotten now with all the modern kit . Dont you ever fancy a bash on the boats now ?

The Briar Bert. Dave I certainly miss my boat unfortunately bad back forced me to sell. My last boat was kitted out for wrecjking GPS the lot. Before that belive it or not we used to find wrecks by using shore marks and compass bearings, had to be a good day. Still got some of my old sheets with chucrh steeples, buildings etc on. Yes we are certainly spoilt these days.
