Red Cod

Wheyaye, they are good to eat.

You'll find that cod vary in colour according to the ground that they frequent most. Something to do with camouflage/hiding from predators.

We used to fish the deep sea lochs in the 70's and the bigger cod had jet black speckles all over their backs, the locals said they were 'Icelandic' cod but I'm not sure.

Drof

they r fine 2 eat m8, as said they just take on the red colour of the kelp.
the only thing that the reddies r prone 2 r worms, most also b summit they eat in the kelp
but dont let them put u off just extra protine m8 lol they r easly removed.
