Can anyone help me
I've just bought a diawa slosh 30 2nd hand and took it to work for a bit of a clean up and when I've put it back together it just doesn't want to work the same again

* the handle is reeling backwards
* the spool is rubbing making it tight when turning
* clicker won't work but the ratchet will

It may just be something simple but I can't fathem it out
Does anyone know of any tackle shops that will repair the reel to make it work correctly again

David

havent got a clue but did overhear someone say a common mistake is to place teh reverse bearing wrong way round.....take it to a tackle shop they might be able to point u in the right direction staright away

Sounds like it can be easily fixed just a bit of a mess on if you don’t know what you’re doing, first of all I would check the pinion gear is in place and hasn’t popped out, if its reeling backwards as well I think that will be because you have put the pinion gear back wrong. there’s a few good guides on WSF with pics which will help you.

Gettin the bottom drive plate off is the problem It doesn't just lift off
It was workin spot on when a got it it does still work though just not as good as before I took it apart

I've left it at work I have no patience if it didn't come out after 3 hours of messing with it so gna see if the gaffer can sort summit out

I don't think it comes off, i couldnt get it off mine but you can just work around it.
That's what a think the problem is when I took the case off the shaft and the wheel wobbles couldn't find a seat for it to drop recess for it to sit in so put it back together and when you get the bearings back in it stops
