Hi all am going to service my saltist 30 in a minuite just wondering how long to leave the barings in lighter fluid to get old oil out and how much oil to put on them
the oil i have is yellow rocket oil cheers

Hi all am going to service my saltist 30 in a minuite just wondering how long to leave the barings in lighter fluid to get old oil out and how much oil to put on them

Hi Peter leave barings in lighter fluid for 5 minutes or so then put them on some toilet roll to dry out for 15 minutes turn them over and spin them a couple of times while drying mate then put about 3 to 4 small drops of oil in them and should be fine.

Reel runs spot on and very quiet when casting out thanks for that mate a was suprised at the amount of gritty deposit left in lighter fluid after 5 mins
