river tyne and s pier

alrite could any1 tell me what fish been like around these areas.

not fished the tyne for a while, so not sure whats getting caught there,
but on shields pier the tthe last week i have seen cod, coley,pollock, whiitng dab , plaice, flounder, mackeral, pouting, gurnard, dragonet,weaver,launce and octopus and if your not happy in catching these there also has been cormorant, guillimot and a few gulls getting caught as well lol

Fished there the day mate. First chuck using rag got hit by a macky, 2nd chuck, hit by macky, 3rd chuck, hit by macky. Managed this little feller though

Lol seen 2 pics from you both have a mixed box with Berkley in it and your fancy gemini leads nice little fish and some nice maccys cant go wrong wish we could fish the north pier in the day light because i no it would throw up some nice Pollock and some great bags of mackerel.

HaHa. Best one was mate that after those, went for a really big chuck and it blew up so relined and lobbed out just to get the line on properly, you guessed it, another maccy but this time on a bare blue 2/0 aberdeen. Who the f**k needs feathers etc.:D
 
lol thats class m8 must have been the shine from the hook or they thought it was really sharp pointy sand eel ha ha

Can't tell 100% because of the pic but looks like dab to me mate, was the lateral line curved above the head. Sounds a good day fishing anyway mate well done.
