Well I managed a few hours on Saturday Morning.

The water had dropped right back but there was loads of fish in the pools.

Hooked three on a size 1 mepps, lost all of them! as soon as they were hooked they jumped clear out the water and through the hook!

Two of the them were dark fish one was nice and silver!

I was fishing with my mate, who had the same result, three hooked, none landed.. We did have a couple of big browns that went back.

Waiting for some more rain before the 31st, I think last Friday would have been ideal for them! we\'re never happy are we!! lol

Thanks Jim, I had a great morning, like I said, I feel like I get a hell of allot for 6 quid!

Still there is two weeks left until the end of the season. Hoping for a couple of other goes. However I I still have a shood load of bait left from my cancelled boat trip (seahouses) yesterday so I might be out tonight.... is the sea still up, sless has just confirmed there was a lump on yesterday?

Mark - Can you keep the river conditions coming, I see rain is forecast for wednesday and thursday this week......?
