rod help

hi everone pretty new to fishing so sorry if this sounds daft.i have a 2 peice rod which has a much longer top section. i would like to fit this rod in the boot. can i have the top section halved, its 88"long thanks

im no expert mate but i dont think its possible to half the top section it would probably make the rod lose the action it was designed to have

thanks tony . i was just thinking it would be nice to keep some gear in the boot away from thieving eyes for when the mood takes. cheers

there is a few three piece rods on the market but im not sure if they'd be small enough to fit in your boot, check out the grey website they do a couple of three piece rods Greys Fishing

best place to got m8 is id fishing newcastle tell them u want a three piece beachcaster but u got a budget i een no of mitchell 15 foot rods they sell for £15 cant get any better than that before xmas cheers lol

Some on the Ron Thompson page here: Glasgow Angling Centre Rods £30-£40. even cheaper one on the Leeda page for under £20. Or if you've got plenty of pennies there's a few on the other pages running upto around £150-£200.
