never tried the orion but my greys appollo mk1 is a great alrounder

The Orion is a nice beach rod for when you don't want or need the stiffer stuff. Nice to cast with and can handle mixed ground. Used one in Ireland recently and hauled in a 9lb thornback and Matty used his for 11lb conger.
