Rod rebuilding

Just wondering if anyone could tell me of anyone who could rebuild my mk1 apollo as the eyes are starting to look a bit tatty.
also how long could i expect it to be out of action and will it weaken it any advice would be much appriciated cheers.

Codhunter on this site rebuilds rods and is the doggies danglies.

Hi m8,ive been building a few rods in my spare time,if it`s just the eyes that need removed and any underwhipping removed,cleaned then new eyes on takes less than a day to do that.Then the epoxy resin(high build)depending on how many coats,i would say less than a week for the lot m8.As for weakening the rod?no the rod will still be spot on m8.hope this helps.

dont know anyone from your neck of the woods mate,but over hear you have terry woods who is 2nd to none on the rod building game,not sure if terry does greys rods though after i recieved a pm from him.But it costs nowt to ask
