hi i just got the greys bze for flatty fishing do u think it be ok using with daylights in the summer on the pier or should i just put a fixed spool on my kompressor which i dont like the idea of.

It will be fine with a couple of feathers on and a sensible sized weight. I wouldn't be putting a full string of feathers or daylights on it though. You would have much more fun getting a lightweight rod that takes just a light spinner. When you get a decent Mackerel on you can't do a thing with it lol, a much fairer and fun fight.

rod can handle from 3 - 5 oz should be ok to wack out with a bit force
