Had a couple of hours on Roker this afternoon enjoying the spring sunshine. Not alot to report to be honest, mini coalies were hitting the bait as soon as it was in the water, stopped counting when I got to double figures. Fun in a way but I had been hoping to get into a decent Flounder or two but they never had a chance.

I did however manage this little specimen between the bait robbers, small but perfectly formed and my first ever double sided Flounder:

Bait was rag tipped off with Mackerel; lovely day to be on the pier, almost warm enough to get my legs out for the first time this year :red:

Well done looks like you had a good session them flounders are weird do they have an explanation why they have mutated like that ?

There's a sticky on one of the sites sections with info about them mate.

Well done on the mutant fish Malcolm.
